The Adura LightPoint System™ (ALPS™) is a full featured lighting control system that provides sophisticated control options that can be scaled from the management of a few lights to the control of lighting throughout a campus or a commercial building.
Adura’s Wall Control Interface replaces conventional wall switches with a smart switch. The Wall Control solution provides simple on/off control, scene control and continuous dimming. The solution gives the occupant the ability to control lights to a level that is appropriate to the situation.
Adura’s Wall Control Interface works in conjunction with a wall switch by transmitting the occupant's requests via radio frequency. In the ALPS network, the result is a situational and schedule-sensitive response. During work hours, light levels can be manually adjusted up or down. After hours, the occupant can turn lights on for one to two hours. During a demand reduction event, the occupant can still adjust lights within a reduced range.
For operations, the Wall Control Interface provides ultimate flexibility. Zoning is no longer limited to existing wiring. Individual fixtures can be easily assigned or removed to wall switch control. All operating parameters of the switch are easily modified by Web-based tools.
The Wall Control Interface incorporates wireless RF technology using the ZigBee® standard for fail-safe communication. By forming a self-healing, adaptive mesh network that maintains reliable connectivity, communication is assured even in difficult environments.
