The Adura system is a full featured lighting control system that provides sophisticated control options that can be scaled from the management of a few lights to the control of lighting throughout a campus or a commercial building.
The Sensor Interface integrates occupancy sensors and daylight sensors with the Adura system, providing flexible control zoning and the ability to incorporate multiple control strategies in a cost effective manner. Occupancy sensing can be combined with day lighting reduction, as well as automatic scheduling, demand reduction and wall control.
Installation, setup, programming and maintenance are simple. The Sensor Interface snaps onto an electrical junction box. The Sensor Interface has an auto-commissioning feature which intuitively determines if each channel is used for either an occupancy or a photocell sensor. Setup is completed by creating lighting control zones and applying control strategies.
The Sensor Interface transmits data from the occupancy sensors and photocells onto the Adura network, which allows for their performance to be recorded and managed in the Enterprise Database. The history of occupancy and lighting usage can then be analyzed to verify that the sensors are functioning as intended.
The Sensor Interface incorporates wireless RF technology using the ZigBee® standard for fail-safe communication. By forming a self-healing, adaptive mesh network that maintains reliable connectivity, communication is assured even in difficult environments.
The Adura platform integrates with the majority of switches, occupancy sensors and photo sensors available in the market today. Further, the Adura Sensor Interface enables many other widely available building automation sensors to be integrated into the Adura platform.
