Occupancy Detection

Occupancy sensors can be integrated into the Adura lighting control system to turn lights on when an area is occupied and off when it is empty. Adura’s system integrates standard occupancy sensors to deliver flexibility that is unheard of with conventional controls.

Adura Lighting Controls and Occupancy Sensing

  • Time delays and other parameters can be adjusted from a Web page.
  • When the zoning requirements of an area change, there is no need to rewire the system.  Rather the area under control can be easily enlarged or contracted using the intuitive Web interface.
  • The historical performance of the occupancy sensing is recorded in the enterprise database providing invaluable information for monitoring and optimization.
  • Occupancy sensing can be combined with daylighting control, occupant control and even automatic scheduling to provide responsive control depending on the actual use of the building. Time delays can be varied based on the scheduled activity.
