Adura co-founder Charlie Huizenga developed the company’s core wireless technology at the University of California, Berkeley Center for the Built Environment. Since its founding in 2005, Adura has seen its system deployed in more than three million square feet of space for various uses from offices to parking garages for customers that range from major municipalities to some of Silicon Valley’s most innovative companies.
The Adura system has built upon the ZigBee wireless network standard but far surpasses ZigBee’s residential-based specifications to deliver robust commercial solutions.
